Sketchbook
Remember to purchase a sketchbook and bring it to class for the beginning of Semester 2!
It can be a "black book" like the one I showed in class (hardbound). You can get them for $8-15 at Fred Meyer or Art Media (depending on the size you choose).
Or it can be a wirebound sketchbook like the ones on the Integrated Art bookshelves.
It should not be lined paper - it should be blank for sketching and drawing.

Project Post - Additional Notes
Please read the post below - most of you have already posted to your blogs by the deadline. Thank you.
Those of you who have not...need to do so today. Read through carefully - you need to respond to each of these, including critiquing your own project using the Elements and Principles of Design as a foundation.
Also, this is a link to a folder of images from the Friday before break. Choose 3-5 of these images that are representative of your project. Post these on your blog as well (same post).
When you have completed the write-up on your own, go to the other blogs and respond to each of their projects. You do not need to respond in the same amount of detail as you did on your own, but you should come up with a short, constructive paragraph assessing their project, also using the Principles and Elements of Design as a basis.
